Abstract
The article analyses the stories Todos nós adorávamos caubóis, by Carol Bensimon, and Amora, by Natalia Borges Polesso, based on discussions about identities and lesbophobia. The analysis is based primarily on Sara Ahmed's theories on queer feelings and the comfort/discomfort dualism, as well as on the relationships between space and literature taught by Susan Stanford Friedman and Doreen Massey. The article attempts to demonstrate how the works re-signify (dis)comfort in new possibilities of love and identity.
