Abstract
The main goal of this text is to perform an analysis of the poem "A Pantufa", by Patricia Lino. The poem in question was published in 2019 in the blog and magazine Études Lusophones and has already been presented in Spain, Portugal and the United States. To perform the analysis we take as a starting point the relationship between literature and philosophy, more specifically the discussions around the concept of hospitality, thought by Jacques Derrida. The problem of the discussion is centered on the category of hospitality taking it as a working hypothesis, understanding that it is constructed as an ethical, aesthetic and political device capable of sustaining the porosity between literary studies and the humanities. To this end, at first we went through the concept of hospitality, its expansion to dialogue with literature in what has been called the poetics of hospitality to, at the end, propose the reading and analysis of the poem in question.
